Fundraisers
Hermann Fitschen from Claudius Peters in Buxtehude, and Florin Isdraila from Claudius Peters in Sibiu, Romania successfully completed a charity race event on 26th May 2018 held in Sibiu, Romania.
Both of them ran a 21km half marathon course in a respectable time and have raised and donated funds for charity projects.
Hermann ran in aid of the Sibiu Protestant Deaconry project “Give Hope – Active for Inclusion”. In this project people with disabilities are very successfully cared for and supported.
For the first time at this event, participants with disabilities joined a relay team together with the organisation’s carers which proved to be both enjoyable and successful.
The organisation “Give hope – Active for Inclusion” has been supported for over ten years by the Protestant parish of Hermann´s hometown Harsefeld, Germany.
Thanks to Langley Holdings Charity Match Funding policy Hermann´s and Florin´s donations were doubled.
Langley Holdings match funding equally matches any charitable donations made by employees and their immediate families.
