Louisa’s story
Together with my Mam I took part in the Tyneside Memory Walk at Night on 13th October 2018 on Newcastle’s Quayside, the atmosphere was amazing with all walks of life joining in. We did this to raise as much as we could for The Alzheimer’s Society, which is a charity close to my heart as my Nana was diagnosed with dementia several years ago and sadly passed away in August 2017. The last few of years of her life she no longer recognized any family members and had no real quality of life. I am hopeful a complete cure in the future can and will happen! A huge thank you to all who kindly donated!
