Ukraine’s SAEE Signs Agreement with Bergen Engines
NORWAY – Bergen Engines, a leading manufacturer of medium-speed engines and generator sets, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ukraine’s State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving (SAEE). This MOU is a crucial step in rebuilding Ukraine’s energy infrastructure before the upcoming winter.
Bergen Engines will work with SAEE to deliver and install medium-speed gensets, providing vital power to stabilise Ukraine’s national grid. This partnership aims to ensure reliable electricity and heat for Ukrainian homes and businesses during the critical winter months.
Jon Erik Røv, Managing Director of Bergen Engines, stated, “We are committed to working with SAEE to secure the necessary power supply, ensuring Ukrainian homes and businesses have access to electricity and heat this winter. Together, we can enhance energy security and make a meaningful impact.”
