10 teams took to the water off Barcelona last week in challenging super-light airs. For this event helmsman Tony Langley switched roles with fellow Brit Paul Goodison, who will co-steer American Magic, along with Tom Slingsby, in the 37th Americas Cup in 2024, also in Barcelona.
The Gladiator team have struggled to find form this season, recording just one win at the inaugural event in Baiona in May. Aside to that their best placing has been a 4th in each of the other four events.
