Congratulations to Reader Cement Products’ Daren Brown, who has raised £400 for When You Wish Upon a Star by decorating the exterior of his home with a Christmas Lights Show. As a result, Langley Holdings has charity matched the money raised to £800.00 with the group’s charity match scheme.
Langley Holdings plc has been fund raising for the Nottinghamshire based charity for many years with our traditional Langley Christmas Card donation.
About When You Wish Upon a Star
When You Wish Upon a Star granted the Wishes of children living with a life-threatening illness. The charity was founded in Nottingham by Barbara White OBE who was so inspired by a seriously ill four-year-old with a dream to meet Mickey Mouse that she wanted to bring smiles to the faces of many more brave and courageous children. These Wishes have the power to transform the lives of the children and families they work with and since 1990 we they have granted over 18000 Wishes across the UK.
